Changing your mac’s dock is, surprisingly, a pretty easy process. All you need is a mac, a dock, and an application to change it with.

There are many options for changing your dock, but the simplest and quickest way to do it is using Leopard Docks.

Installing the Application

First, download the Leopard docks app here.
Extract the application by double-clicking the Leopard_Docks_App.zip file in Finder.
Move LeopardDocks App to your Applications Folder.

Getting Docks

Find a good Dock directory. A good one might be leoparddocks.com. Also, check out these great docks and dockulicious.com.
Download a Dock you like.
Extract the dock; you are ready when you have a folder named with the dock name.

Installing Docks

Open the LeopardDocks App.
Press the Browse button and navigate to the folder of the dock you downloaded and extracted.
Press Change My Dock! and enter your admin username and password. Your dock has been changed!

Reinstalling the Original Dock

To reinstall the original dock, just select the bubble in LeopardDocks App for Original Dock.
